WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Standing Pilates Part 1

Boost the functional benefits of your classes with fun and creative repertoire from this two-part Standing Pilates workshop series.

Standing Pilates Part 1 focuses on standing posture and alignment as a foundation for efficient movement. Moving beyond traditional ideas of “correct posture,” this workshop emphasizes maintaining alignment throughout functional movement.  

You’ll learn a blend of classical and contemporary Pilates exercises to enhance mobility, improve alignment, and promote ease of movement.

 

Standing Pilates Part 2

Continue to enhance the functional benefits of your classes with the second part of our Standing Pilates workshop series.

Standing Pilates Part 2 builds upon the concepts taught in Part 1 with a focus on improving balance and dynamic stability throughout movement. Learn new ways to build strength and neurological control for enhanced functional fitness.

You’ll be taught a mix of classical and contemporary Pilates exercises designed to boost balance, increase strength, and improve functional outcomes.

Prerequisites:

Completion of a comprehensive Pilates teacher program from a Pilates Method Alliance or Pilates Associate of Australia approved school (such as Polestar Comprehensive Studio/Rehabilitation course or full Diploma)
