Carrie is a qualified Pilates Instructor, Sports Massage Therapist and holds a BSc Hons Degree in Sports Science & Biology. After completing a Diploma of Sports Massage in 2005 she worked in London with a large variety of clients in all sports, before emigrating to Sydney in 2007.

Carrie started Pilates in London to improve her strength and to decrease the risk of injuries from working in a very busy massage practice. Her love of Pilates grew from the positive effect it has on her body and the increased energy she gained from practicing Pilates providing an increase in efficiency with her massage work. After retiring from Massage Therapy in 2016 she still integrates her manual skills experience into her Pilates Sessions. Pilates is an important addition for everyone to strengthen and lengthen the body from within to assist you in your daily life and improve your mind, body and soul.

Carrie completed her Diploma in Professional Pilates (Rehab) with Polestar Pilates in 2010. She believes strongly in continued professional development and attends various workshops and courses to expand her knowledge and experience in the world of health and wellness. Carrie has completed specialised courses in Pre/Post Natal, Osteoporosis – Buff Bones® and Craniosacral Therapy. She continues to regularly attend ongoing training, workshops and conferences, expanding her knowledge and skills.

Carrie loves to specialise in Studio Pilates with a focus on rehabilitation and Sports Performance but also loves the energy a group mat class brings to the studio. She brings her own unique personality and energetic creativity to the session but keeps a focus on technique.
